Welcomed exists to surround foster children, and the families who support them, with caring communities. These Care Communities consist of 4-8 volunteers who provide support with regular meals, childcare, child mentoring, and household projects. Each Care Community has a Team Leader that checks in with the foster parents on a weekly basis to provide emotional support and communicate the family’s needs back to the rest of the Care Community.

Welcomed engages, trains, supports, and networks churches at the local level as they establish and maintain these Care Communities.
