Lighting

The use of lighting is important to create the best possible viewing experience.

To increase screen contrast, we encourage a low lighting in the main viewing room. Darken windows to prevent natural lighting from making it hard to see the screens. Make sure you look at the screens from different angles in the room and avoid glare or reflection.

But, keep in mind note-taking is a high value at the Summit. Don’t lower the lights in the room too much to make note-taking difficult or confusing.

For your host, a single spotlight or higher stage lighting during presentations is helpful. During breaks or lunch, raise house lighting to prevent accidents.
